This Privacy Policy applies to merchants, their authorized users, and related end-customer data processed through StayReo POS, including web, mobile, and integrated services.

a. Account & Business Data

• Business name, owner/manager details
• Contact information (email, phone)
• GST/VAT or other tax identification numbers
• Subscription and billing details

b. Operational Data

• Menus, items, pricing, tables
• Orders, invoices, taxes, discounts
• Inventory and stock data
• Staff profiles, roles, permissions
• Device identifiers, system logs

c. Payment Data

• Payment status, modes, transaction references
• StayReo does not store full card details
• Card and UPI data is securely handled by authorized payment gateway partners

d. End-Customer (Diner) Data

(Collected and controlled by the merchant)

• Names, phone numbers, email addresses
• Order history and preferences
• Feedback, loyalty program data
• Delivery addresses (if enabled by merchant)

e. Support & Diagnostics

• Support tickets and communication records
• Error logs, crash reports
• Usage analytics and cookies/SDK events

3. How We Use Data

We use collected data to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain StayReo POS
• Set up merchant accounts and process billing
• Communicate service updates, alerts, and notices
• Enable integrations requested by merchants

We do not publicly identify your business in reports or marketing materials without your consent.

We do not sell personal data.

• Merchants may request data export or deletion, subject to contractual and legal limits

9. Merchant Responsibilities (Controller Role)

As a merchant, you agree to:

• Provide appropriate privacy notices to diners and staff
• Obtain required consents before collecting and sharing data
• Configure access controls, retention settings, and integrations responsibly
• Respond to end-customer privacy requests (StayReo will assist where legally required and technically feasible)

10. Cookies & Similar Technologies

StayReo uses:

• Essential cookies for login, authentication, and security
• Functional and analytics cookies to improve performance and features

Disabling cookies may affect certain functionalities of the Service.

11. Your Rights & Choices

Merchants may:

• Access, update, or delete certain data via the dashboard
• Request data exports before account termination
